The band released an hour-long 13 songs story, concept album "The Life Code" just only four months later. They quickly defined their style and got embraced by fans with their roots coming from all different kinds of styles and genres.
"The Life Code" forged a path of complex compositions with low tuned, heavy guitars, polyrhythmic drums, mixed with unique, angelic orchestral, ambient and film score music as well as piercing vocal lines, quickly becoming a staple of the band's sound.
The debut concept album has been written as a one piece, and every song is a chapter of a one story.
The album proceeds to dig deep into the concept of life and its various aspects with songs referring to each other both lyrically and sonically, creating a musical journey suitable for all kinds of musical tastes.
IAMONE can't be simply defined as a one genre.
Formed in a place known mostly for its death metal acts such as Behemoth, Decapitated or Vader, Poland gave birth to IAMONE on April 2018, however the project goes as far as late 2015.
IAMONE delivers the heaviest modern dose of extremely low tuned guitars, complex polyrhythms, combined with beautiful melodies and an array of film score elements, cyberpunk synths, harps, bells, choirs, orchestras and many, many more unusual instruments for the genre.
Starting with a music video for their first single "Of Life: Awakening" right away, IAMONE continued to promote themselves with another 2 singles in the upcoming months for "Of Space: Infinitude" and "The Answer // Forty-Two" as well as a Short Film "L I F E" teasing the upcoming album.

The band spans their music from alternative rock, synthwave, and cyberpunk, film score music throughprogressive metal, metalcore, djent and many more, delivering a truly modern sound.
IAMONE is known for creating lots of sneak peeks and hidden messages in their social media posts and videos, that give their more curious fans a chance to checkout some new material beforehand.
The guys also put a lot of teasers in their songs and music videos itself. These themes are later revealed to be separate songs.
Since their 2018’s debut album, IAMONE played alongside the well-known bands like The Contortionistand Shokran, and rose to become the first and highest streamed band of their home country Poland to date, surpassing 2 million streams overall in January of 2023.
IAMONE's second album „INTO THE SEA FULL OF TEARS” released in October of 2022, took their sound even further being their heaviest and even more emotional release yet, also revealing the previously unknown trilogy of songs called „THE MISERY” that has been teased in secret 3 years before in a standalone single „Deception”.
At the end of 2022 it was named one of the best Polish 2022 albums by rockmetalnews.pl andRockMetalShop next to the artists like Meshuggah, Polyphia, Decapitated, Korn, Rammstein or Behemoth.
After the release of the second album, after a year of playing show, IAMONE began working on their secret, yet unnamed project, which later turned out to be "FOLLOWING RABBIT HOLE" (more on that later).

In 2023, on the 5th anniversary of their debut album "The Life Code", IAMONE released the 5th Anniversary Special Edition album called "THE LIFE CODE - REBORN".
"THE LIFE CODE - REBORN" has been full re-recorded, reprogrammed, redefined with brand new sound design, reworked on some songs, fully remixed from scratch and remastered.
It features 3 new songs, 2 of them which have never been heard before, that date back to the original "The Life Code" era, which didn't make the cut then. The third song is the First chapter of the history "THE MISERY", teased back in late 2019, called "THE MISERY: PART I - DECEPTION".
What makes this release special, the band invited 10 absolutely stunning Polish metalcore vocalist from active bands for featurings on this Special Edition release, being once again, the first polish modern meta/core/djent band to do so.
On 28th of March 2024, IAMONE released their most ambitious release to date - a 20-minute single called " FOLLOWING THE RABBIT HOLE".
FOLLOWING THE RABBIT HOLE is a single song, a continuous suite, with 6 movements, each divided into 2 sections (in exception of the very first movement).
Creating this piece, for the first time in IAMONE’s history, we all locked ourselves together as a band in the studio, with a blank, white sheet - without any prepared riffs, without ideas, wanting only to convey a compelling, emotional story in one long composition.
They also documented the entire process as a video, which is set to release in the mid 2024.
